How to Care for Your Wire Wrapped Pendant

Shine your pendant with a jeweler’s rouge rag, or another soft cloth.
Gold, Silver, and Copper are all maleable metals, so don’t be rough with your new jewelry! Treat is with tender care. If you snag your pendant and any part of the wire wrap bends, slowly and gently bend it back into place with your fingers or a pair of needle nose pliers. If you are unsure of how to do this, e-mail us using our Contact Gerardi Gems form at the bottom of each of our web pages.
You can use a liquid cleaner like Tarnex to clean your pendant, but beware, it will get tarnished amore quickly than if you use a jewelers rouge rag.
Keep your pendant in a safe place, like your jewelry box, when you are not wearing it.
