Sweet Relief Pain Relief Cream is a dextrose based cream which eliminates pain when placed on the affected areas over sensory nerves. Application of dextrose on the skin appears to calm sensory nerve sensations when applied over the complete nerve path that pertains to the painful area. If you don’t find your answer here, feel free to contact us.

Q: Why should I use Sweet Relief?

A: People who use this dextrose (sugar) cream on their skin usually are more functional and comfortable, plus dextrose is a small molecule and can better penetrate the skin to relieve aches and pains.

Q: How and Where do I apply The Cream?

A: Either use your fingers for easily accessible areas, or an applicator for harder to reach areas. Ideally, apply Sweet Relief after a shower or bath, or first use a hot wet compress on your painful area. This increases skin permeability. Also, self use is essential. Someone else can help you with the application when they are there, but you need to reliably apply Sweet Relief twice a day or more.

Q: How does Sweet Relief work?

A: Dextrose eliminates pain when placed on the correct area over sensory nerves. Application of dextrose on the skin appears to calm nerve sensations when applied over the complete nerve path that pertains to the painful area. This effect becomes long lasting and more substantial with repeated applications.

Q: What will I notice?

A: Substantial reduction in some pain within minutes or no change at all. If you notice no change, you will still be helping to heal your nerves (making them less sensitive).

Q: When will I get better?

A: Pain is from both deep and superficial structures. If the deep structures need to heal, that takes 2-3 months. Although it may take time, you are encouraged to faithfully apply Sweet Relief to continue to help soothe the nerve structures.

Q: When should I decrease the application frequency to daily?

A: When there is no pain and no stiffness for 2 months.

Q: What if I can’t seem to remember to apply Sweet Release?

A: This takes practice. A solution is to place the cream in a prominent location, perhaps in a place where you can’t get dressed in the morning or put pajamas on without first seeing the jar of Sweet Relief . You can also place the jar on the bathroom counter near the sink so that as you begin your morning routine you will notice the cream. You will develop your own reminders, but the main thing is to practice ways to not forget.

Q: Clothing Protection hints…

A: Sweet Relief is pain relieving body lotion, so treat it as a body lotion in regard to contact with clothing. An undershirt may be helpful, and rinsing the middle portion of bras to avoid washing too frequently is recommended.
