Q: What is Neem Oil?

A: Neem oil is a vegetable based oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of the neem (Azadirachta indica), an evergreen tree most commonly found in India. It is the most important of the non-chemically derived products for natural insect repellents and organic farming.

Q: Which bugs does Neem Oil repel?

A: Neem can be used as a pesticide for ant, bedbug, cockroach, housefly, sand fly, snail, termite and mosquitoes both as repellent and larvicide.

Q: What are Essential Oils?

A: Essential oils are liquids that are generally distilled (most frequently by steam or water) from the leaves, stems, flowers, bark, roots, or other elements of a plant.

Q: What are Essential Oils used for?

A: The chemical composition and aroma of essential oils can provide valuable psychological and physical therapeutic benefits. These benefits are usually achieved through methods including inhalation and application of the diluted oil to the skin.

Q: How do I apply Bugshield?

A: Shake well. For external use only. DO NOT SPRAY IN EYES. Apply a liberal amount of Bugshield to the area you wish to protect, then even out coating by rubbing with your hands.

Q: Any precautions?

A: Essential oils may be too strong for young skin, so test first before applying to young children’s skin. Do not use during pregnancy or when breast feeding, and as stated above, Bugshield is for external use. And again, do not spray in your eyes.
