Meeting Your Expectations

Please take a few moments to carefully read our returns and refunds policy as they directly affect your purchase here at Gerardi Gems.

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

Please follow the three steps below.

1. Use the contact form to request a refund.
2. After communicating with us to confirmn your return, mail your returned item to:

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the applicable PayPal receipt.

Return Exceptions

1. Custom Orders can not be returned after delivery.
2. Merchandise that has been altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling (if applicable) that you paid on the order.

Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of the handcrafted items included on Gerardi Gems, exchanges will be handled on a case by case basis to determine if an equitable exchange can be made for another item of equal value.

Please read these policies carefully as they directly affect your order.

Care

Your Order will be carefully inspected and packed with care in approved packaging, before it is shipped.

Turnaround

Please allow 7-10 business days to recieve your order

All orders are shipped in a timely manner, you will be notified in your checkout process of any delays. For those placing Custom Orders, delivery scheuldes will be decided during the custom ordering process.

Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

United States Parcel Service (for inexpensive, reliable delivery)
UPS, FedEx, DHL (by special arrangement only)

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we wil provide it to you. It is the buyer’s responsibility to track their packages. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Every parcel is personally taken to the carrier so that there is proof of mailing.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. If you are charged shipping, then during your checkout process you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Checkout Process

Once you add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, you will then enter the checkout process.

Our checkout process includes a redirect to the PayPal website. This is normal. Once you have finished purchasing your items, you will are welcome to continue browsing our website.

Credit Card Charges

Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be refunded.

Thank you for visiting Gerardi Gems. Here is some information on how to operate our website. If you don’t find your answer here, feel free to contact us.

Q: Where are you based?

A: Gerardi Gems is based in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley, just north of the California state line in a beautiful little town called Ashland.

Q: Why don’t I see any sales tax charged to my order when I check out?

A: Since Gerardi Gems is based in Oregon, we follow our state’s tax laws when conducting business on our website. In Oregon there is no sales tax.

Q: Any other special features?

A: There is. When you are on any of our product detail pages, you can click on the product image to the left of the “add to cart” button to see an enlarged version of that image.

Q: How can I recieve the Gerardi Gems newsletter?

A: There is actually two ways to sign up to recieve our newsletter: 1) Click/Tap our “Subscribe to Newsletter” link on the right side menu and fill out the form. 2) Go to our Login tab on the Main Menu and register as a Gerardi Gems user, and you will be prompted to subscribe to our newsletter.

Q: Can I adjust how big or how small the website displays on my screen?

A: Yes you can. In most modern browsers, if you hold down the CTRL key and then tap the plus (+) key, the webite will get bigger. Consequently, if you hold down the CTRL key and then tap the minus (-) key, the website will get smaller in size.

Q: Do I have to use any certain type of browser for Gerardi Gems to display correctly?

A: Ourwebsite validates to XHTML and CSS web standards and is designed to be compatible with all modern browsers.
