These are The Adventures…
Gerardi Gems is the vision of Sharon and Paul Gerardi, a husband and wife team whose artistry is featured on this website. With their daughter Robyn, the family traveled North America from 2004 to 2007, visiting 36 American states and 6 Canadian provinces, all the while offering their artistry at art festivals, local craft markets, in new thought churches, and at garden festivals. This is the story of their journey, told in images.

2004 – Part 1: The Wedding includes images from Sharon, Robyn, and Paul’s commitment ceremony just before they left to go on the road.
2004 – Part 2: North To New York includes images from North Carolina, Virgina, and New York State, on the way to Newfoundland Canada.
2004 – Part 3: North To Maine includes images from Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusettes, and Maine on the way to Newfoundland Canada.
2004 – Part 4: Newfoundland includes images from Newfoundland and visits with the Canada kin.
2004 – Part 5: South From Newfoundland includes images from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Massachusettes, North Carolina, and Florida.
2005 – Part 1: The Road To Alaska includes images from North Carolina, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Albeta, British Columbia, and the Yukon Territory.
2005 – Part 2: Alaska Phase 1 includes images from the North Pole, The Alaska Range, and Denali National Park.
2005 – Part 3: Alaska Phase 2 includes images of various locations on the Kenai Peninsula, Seldovia Alaska, and the trip south through the Yukon Territory, and British Columbia Canada.
2005 – Part 4: Back in the Lower 48 includes images of Oregon and California.
2006 – Part 1: The Road To Florida includes images from New Mexico, Florida, North Carolina, Washington D.C. and Ohio (winter to spring).
2006 – Part 2: The Road Back to Alaska includes images from North Dakota, British Columbia, and the Yukon Territory (spring to early summer).
2006 – Part 3: Alaska Phase 3 includes images from Eastern Alaska, and from Anchorage south to the tip of the Kenia Penninsula and beyond (summer to early fall).

“Namaste, and welcome to my artistic journey. After traveling North America with my family from 2004 through 2007, we have settled in a wonderful slice of heaven, Ashland Oregon. During my journey I learned a lot from nature and all the wonderful energy it gives. I have a passion to merge natural earth-born elements like gem stones,crystals, and various metals, to create unique hand made one-of-a-kind art pieces. The elements in my art bring healing and grounding properties into our lives.”
Sharon Gerardi’s artistic career began in the mid 1990’s when, as a single mother, she literally had to find a creative way to make financial ends meet. While sharing a bottle with wine around the dining room table with some girlfriends, Sharon noticed that all the wine glasses had lipstick on them and that her friends were attempting to keep their glasses straight by the color of thier lipstick! Sharon realized that she could make something that would attach to the stem of wine glasses that would let her guests be able to tell them apart. She found some marbles and lead-free solder wire that were bumping around her home, and twisted up her first wine charms that she promptly placed on the stem of her guests wine glasses. The result was Stemart, a fun and elegant addition to the stem her girlfriend’s wine glass, and yours too!
Over the years since, she has continued to create new artwork in the form of wire-wrapped jewelry, pounded copper pendants and ear rings, suncatchers, and bookmarks. She has also designed table-top Brandy Warmers, Votive Candle Holders, and Wind Chimes that her husband, Paul Gerardi, crafts for Gerardi Gems.
Sharon Gerardi’s art is a continual evolution. She develops and creates new ideas constantly, and she loves the co-creation process she has with many Gerardi Gems customers.
Please know that each piece is made with the intent to spread love, peace and joy.

Nuptials, Vows, Wedding services
Sharon Gerardi considers herself blessed to have traveled with her family all over North America, from Newfoundland to Alaska, to Florida and California and beyond, from 2004 though 2007. During their journey, Sharon visited New Thought and Christ based Churches throughout the US and Canada. She has facilitated workshops and study circles based on Christ based consciousness and she continues to study the principals of Unity Church, Science of Mind Church, and Unitarian Universalism, spiritual modalities that include people of all ages, people of many backgrounds, people of many beliefs who are brave, curious and compassionate, and who believe in spirituality and community beyond boundaries. Sharon has also learned quite a lot from nature and all the wonders and energy it gives.

Becoming a wedding officiate was a natural progression of my path to a more fulfilling spiritual commitment to myself and others. What a wonderful gift it is to be able to create a celebration of love between two people that will be a part of each others’ lives forever.
